This page of contributed papers includes the original expanded abstracts of lectures presented at the II International School-Seminar on «Modem Problems of Combustion and it’s Applications» that was held in Minsk from 30th August to 4th September 1997. All the abstracts were divided into 9 sections: Porous media combustion, Selfpropagated hightemperature synthesis ; Fluidized bed combustion, Technological combustion and new processes; Combustion diagnostics; Analytical methods and combustion mechanisms; Turbulent combustion; Soot formation; Pollution control. The main attention at the seminar was paid to the different aspects of combustion assisted technologies as the basis for industry of 21* century.
