IGNITION AND COMBUSTION REGIMES

A new (flame) regime of peat combustion in an air flow 
has been experimentally investigated. It has been established that 
the rate of combustion of a peat depends on its density and moisture 
content, which makes it possible to refine the mathematical model 
of a peat fire. The mechanism of catalytic peat combustion was determined.
