COMBUSTIBLES, INCLUDING THE DATA OF EXPERIMENTS AND NATURAL OBSERVATIONS

A comparative analysis of different simple models of drying 
of forest combustibles is considered. Results of the comparison of 
numerical calculations with experimental data and the data of natural 
observations are presented and discussed. A conclusion is drawn on 
the possibility of using simple mathematical models of drying the 
layer of forest combustibles in a new system of prediction of forest-fire 
hazard.
