DISPERSION OF SUBSTANCES AND CALCULATION 
OF THE CRATER DEPTH IN HIGH-VELOCITY IMPACTS

A hydrodynamic model of the process of dispersion 
of bodies in high-velocity impacts is considered. The depth of craters 
formed on impact of bodies against a semiinfinite surface is calculated. 
The possibility of applying the results obtained to the superdeep-penetration 
effect is discussed.
