REVEALING THE CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF PRESSURE PEAKS IN THE PROBING PULSE

The possibility is shown of using pressure pulses rerefl ected from the surface of a porous medium in a shock tube and from its upper end face as probing pulses for studying changes occurring in the medium under the infl uence of a shock wave.
