STABILITY CRITERION OF A ROTATING FLUID FILM IN THE POST-DRYOUT REGION OF SWIRLING FLOW BOILING

The paper considers the fragmentation of fl uid fi lms and, in particular, the used similarity numbers that characterize the process of fragmentation. Based on the analysis of a previously proposed mathematical model for a rotating fl uid fi lm evaporating in the Leidenfrost regime, the Sf criterion is proposed. It represents the relationship between the pressing inertial mass force acting on the fl uid fi lm and the dynamic eff ect of vapor from the heating wall.
