THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE PROCESS OF STEAM–OXYGEN GASIFICATION OF COKE–ASH PARTICLES IN A FLUIDIZED BED UNDER PRESSURE

The problem on the evolution of the state of an ensemble of reacting coke–ash particles in a fl uidized-bed gas generator is considered. A kinetic equation for the distribution function of particles within small ranges of carbon concentration variation for the stages of surface and bulk reaction has been constructed and integrated. Boundary conditions ("matching" conditions) at the boundaries between these ranges are formulated. The infl uence of the granulometric composition of the starting coal, height, porosity, and of the bed temperature on the process of steam– oxygen gasifi cation of coke–ash particles of individual sorts of fuel and of a binary coal mixture has been investigated.
