VIBRATORY COMBUSTION, PROBLEMS AND INVESTIGATION METHODS
Literature data have been reviewed and their analysis has been made. With account taken of the analysis of the modern status of research, a procedure of experimental investigation of the combustion of solid fuels has been developed. The diagnostic system made it possible to measure the rate of burnup of the fuel and the amplitude and frequency of pulsations of the gas pressure in a Rijke tube. A theoretical model of vortex vibrations of the fl ame during vibratory combustion has been developed.
